Once A Lifeguard, Now She’s Reviving Her Career

Compiled By Staff Writer Dan Web

After five years on “Baywatch,” Pamela Anderson Lee is bidding bye-bye to the beach.

The Canada native, who earned fame through her role as buxom lifeguard C.J. Parker in the internationally popular jiggle adventure show, is quitting to “pursue other projects.”

One of those projects is her son, Brandon, whose father is Anderson Lee’s estranged husband, Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee. The other is her proposed autobiography, tentatively titled “Pamdemonium.”

“Giving birth to my son Brandon has opened my mind to explore many new personal and professional opportunities,” Anderson Lee said in a statement.

So does this mean… “Barb Wire 2”?

Loose talk

Pamela Lee Anderson on her career ambitions: “I have no expectations about becoming a bit ‘movie star.’ I just want to continue working in all areas of the entertainment business and continue to be involved with high-quality projects.

If you asked her, she’d dance in a flash

Jennifer Beals, no relation to Pamela Anderson Lee, turns 33 today.

Just like that new lead character on ‘Melrose Place’

San Francisco dermatologist Seth Matarasso says that the Goldie Hawn character in “The First Wives Club” … represents five out of 10 of my patients: more, more, more, bigger, bigger, bigger,” he told Allure magazine. “I have said to them, ‘No, your lips look like plungers,’ but they say, ‘No. More, more, more.”’ As far as we can tell, Matarasso has never operated on Pamela Anderson Lee.

Tonya Harding, the figure skater who pleaded guilty of conspiring to cover up an attack on Olympic rival Nancy Kerrigan, will skate in two free holiday shows at Portland’s Clackamas Town Center shopping mall. “She’s looking forward to getting out in front of a crowd again,” said agent David Hans Schmidt. So, it turns out, is Pamela Anderson Lee.

As for court, the Stern truth is out of there

Shock jock Howard Stern, who’s interviewed Pamela Anderson Lee more than once, is “vulgar and disrespectful.” But, added a New York judge, that is not grounds for a lawsuit. Stern’s on-air ranting over the cremated remains of the late topless dancer Debbie Tay caused Tay’s family to sue. Stern dubbed Tay the “Space Lesbian.”

More Americans rush to join the Bush league

Barbara Bush was voted the nation’s most-admired woman by Good Housekeeping magazine. A poll of 45,000 readers chose the ex-First Lady for the seventh straight year. Another top-10 finisher: Kathie Lee Gifford … apparently edging out Pamela Anderson Lee.

A final Pamela Anderson Lee note: In her proposed memoir, “Pamdemonium,” the actress-of-sorts will include a chapter titled “The History of My Boobs.”
