During the history of Greater Spokane League basketball, the Shadle Park girls are 37-1 against Rogers.
Make that 37-2 after Saturday, when the Pirates (4-3, 2-1) made 17 of 34 second-half field goals to stop Highlanders 59-34 at Shadle.
Angel Fairbanks scored 13 and Jaime Christensen hit two 3-pointers for Rogers, which held Shadle (4-3, 1-2) to 6-of-27 shooting (22 percent) from the field in the second half.
Rogers’ only other win against Shadle came three years ago.
