Power Schmoozing Takes Off

They used to call it networking meeting and talking to people to establish business ties. Author Terri Mandell has another label, “Power Schmoozing.”

The new edition of her book by that name says business people need to be “aggressively and confidently connecting with others in order to create a more productive business and social life.”

She notes that schmoozing is hard for many people, but suggests would-be schmoozers can get a conversation going by finding common ground with people at parties and meetings and start talking about it.
