Webber done for the season

Washington Bullets forward Chris Webber put an end to his most frustrating NBA season by undergoing surgery on his left shoulder.

Webber had been playing in pain since he dislocated his shoulder in a game against Golden State in December 1994.

Forward Danny Manning, sidelined nearly one year with a knee injury, has been activated by the Phoenix Suns.

The Sacramento Kings will be without guard Sarunas Marciulionis for at least five games.

The Chicago Bulls put starting center Luc Longley on the injured list.
