Drugs, Money Found In Small Case

A Spokane man and his girlfriend were arrested after a hotel maid looked under an ice machine and found a small case containing several thousand dollars and two glass tubes of crack cocaine, police said.

Donald Miles Clarke, 35, and Terri M. Larson, 29, were booked into the county jail on drug charges.

After the couple asked about the lost case, the desk manager of the Hampton Inn, 2010 South Assembly, called police about noon Saturday.

Officers were waiting in the lobby when a hotel manager called the guests to report that the case had been found. When Clark and Larson showed up to claim the case, they were arrested.
