Twa Orders 10 Boeing Jets

Trans World Airlines said Monday that it will purchase 10 new Boeing 757-200 aircraft and lease 10 more with an option to acquire an additional 20 planes.

The carrier said three of the new aircraft to be delivered this year and 12 next year are to replace 14 L-1011 planes currently operated by TWA.

Two more planes are to be delivered in 1998, three more in 1999.
