Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: In running errands and making trips to the city, which is about 25 miles away, I often find myself thirsty.

I have found that a plastic cold-drink bottle half filled with water and frozen is the perfect solution. I fill the bottle that is half full of ice with tap water before I leave and put it in an insulated lunch bag. It doesn’t sweat and the ice will last a very long time. It’s convenient to drink a little bit from it at stops. - Juanita Threadgill, Highlands, Texas

Dear Heloise: My gripe is with toothbrush manufacturers that make toothbrushes too wide or fat to fit in toothbrush holders that are in millions of bathrooms or medicine cabinets all over the U.S.A.

Many of them are too long to fit in travel cosmetic-bag toothbrush containers. - Mrs. Juliette Anderson, St. Clair Shores, Mich. xxxx
