Air Pollution Reports

A total of 43 air quality complaints were reported to the Spokane County Air Pollution Control Authority between Feb. 23 and Feb. 17.

The most common complaint, smoke from a solid fuel burning device, such as a wood stove or fireplace, was reported 14 times.

Feb. 12

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device, such as a wood stove or fireplace, was reported at 14220 E. Sunnyside Drive at 8:35 a.m.

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 2700 block of South Grand Avenue at 2:30 p.m.

Open fire was reported at 3500 block of East 30th Avenue at 1:02 p.m.

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 3501 W. Sixth at 7:02 p.m.

Smoke and odor from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 3512 W. 6th at 9:55 a.m.

Open fire was reported at Cheney-Spokane Road at 4:32 p.m.

Smoke in the air was reported at South 40th at 1:20 p.m.

Dust from gravel on roads was reported at Sprague from Evergreen to Argonne at 10:10 a.m.

Smoke from a solid fuel burning device was reported at 1500 block of East Rockwood, Woodcliff at 10:15 a.m.
