1,000 Meter Record Shattered

Maria Mutola of Mozambique broke her own world 1,000-meter indoor record with a time of 2 minutes, 31.23 seconds in the DN games at Stockholm, Sweden.

Mutola had set the previous record of 2:32.08 only two weeks ago in Birmingham, England.
