Prince Charles almost had his royal noggin blown to bits by a jealous Princess Diana when she caught him whispering on the phone to his mistress, according to a new book.
In “Diana - The Lonely Princess,” Nicholas Davies tells how Diana stayed behind when the prince and his pals went on a hunting trip several years ago.
When the party returned, Charles, holding his shotgun, stood on the front porch talking on his mobile phone.
Di soon realized Camilla Parker-Bowles was on the other end of the line and rushed her hubby, knocking the gun out of his arm.
After Charles called her a “silly twit,” Diana grabbed the gun, pointed it at him and snarled: “Get off the phone or I’ll blow your bloody head off!” Fortunately, friends took the gun away and calmed her down.
