Boise Teenager Faces Murder Trial
An 18-year-old Boise man faces a March trial on charges associated with the November slaying of Travis McIntier.
Audie Helms waived a preliminary hearing this week and on Friday pleaded innocent to charges of burglary, grand theft and kidnapping. Trial was set to begin March 5.
Police say McIntier, Boise, was thrown over a cliff to his death Nov. 20 near Lucky Peak Reservoir.
Helms and two others are charged with ransacking McIntier’s apartment after his death.
Richard Dunn, 26; John Maynard, 18, and Shawn Norris, 21, face first-degree murder charges.
