NBA notes

Phoenix Suns forward Charles Barkley underwent surgery for a toe infection and will be unable to play for several games… . Monday night’s game between the Magic and 76ers in Philadelphia was postponed due to snow. The game has not yet been rescheduled… . If the snow lets up, the Sonics hope to board their charter in Newark, N.J., this morning, and arrive in Milwaukee early enough to get in a lengthy pregame warmup. Sunday’s Sonics-Knicks game has yet to be rescheduled because the storm kept the NBA’s New York offices closed.
