Dear Readers: Our friends at the American Kennel Club sent us some outstanding brochures that are part of their aggressive campaign to educate the public about responsible dog ownership.

The brochures are very informative and helpful for the new dog owner or for families thinking of adopting a dog. You can receive several brochures in a packet called the AKC Dog Buyers Education Packet and several more in a packet called Responsible Dog Ownership. It’s wonderful that the AKC sends these free to anyone who requests them. Some brochures include summer safety guidelines, winter care for canines, keeping your dog fit and trim.
