Farm Forum Highlights
Promoters expect more than 6,000 people to attend the 1996 Pacific Northwest Ag Expo and Farm Forum, Tuesday through Thursday in downtown Spokane.
The Ag Expo trade show opens 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily at the Spokane Convention Center, Ag Trade Center and Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena. However, the show closes at 4 p.m. Thursday.
Keynote speeches at Farm Forum are in the Red Lion City Center, while workshops are in the convention center.
Tickets for adults are $8 for Ag Expo, $8 for Farm Forum. The Agri-Business Luncheon is $9.75. Youth tickets are $5 for both shows; free for children under 12.

Wednesday: Creighton University meteorologist Art Douglas makes his 1996 weather forecast at 9 a.m. at the Red Lion.
Former Deputy Secretary of Agriculture Jack Parnell speaks on farm policy at 10:20 a.m. at the Red Lion.
Thursday: Cenex/Land O’Lakes Agronomy presents a seminar on precision farming at 9 a.m. in the Ag Trade Center.
British agriculturalist Rowan Cherrington describes agricultural reforms in the European Community at the 11:45 a.m. Agri-Business Lunch in the WestCoast Ridpath Hotel.
