Officer’s Radio Stolen From Garage

Burglars broke into the South Julia garage of a Spokane police officer sometime Saturday, stealing a portable radio from his police car.

Then the culprits went on the air, broadcasting obscenities in a series of radio transmissions Saturday night.

The lewd talk ended when the radio’s battery went dead, police said.

Authorities are investigating. One female and at least two males participated in the broadcasts. , DataTimes
