Iu’s Wilkerson Arrested, Off Team

Indiana guard Sherron Wilkerson was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery, and coach Bob Knight kicked him off the basketball team.

Wilkerson, 20, told Indianapolis television station WRTV he argued with his girlfriend before being arrested by Bloomington police about 3:40 a.m. Friday. He claimed neighbors had called police and there was no violence involved.
