At State College, Pa., Georgia guard Saudia Roundtree scored a career-high 29 points and Penn State’s Angie Potthoff missed a free throw with 9 seconds left as the fourth-ranked Bulldogs (14-2) beat the No. 10 Nittany Lions 79-78. Penn State dropped to 14-4.

At Clemson, S.C., Amy Geren scored 18 points, including 10 in the last 4 minutes, to lead No. 24 Clemson to a 76-64 victory over No. 11 North Carolina State (13-3, 5-2 ACC). The Tigers improved to 13-1, 4-1.
