Pink Floyd Laser Show At Opera House On Saturday
The chances of legendary psychedelic/progressive rocker Pink Floyd ever playing Spokane are slim to none.
The closest thing we’ll ever get to a Pink Floyd concert here is the Pink Floyd Laser Show, which returns to the Opera House on Saturday.
Basically, these shows pump out an avalanche of Pink Floyd classic gems such as “Wish You Were Here,” “Us and Them,” “Comfortably Numb” and “Learning to Fly” at concertlevel decibels. The music is synchronized with a laser-light show.
The lasers, projected by a bank of computers onto three monstrous screens, beam, dart, dance and pulsate. Together, the music and lasers take show-goers to a state of aural and visual nirvana.
The entire spectacle rivals the one Pink Floyd conducts at concerts.
Showtime’s at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15.50 ($18.50 the day of the show).
