Work Under Way On ‘Alien 4’

It’s in production as we speak. … “Look at Me,” featuring the further adventures of “Get Shorty” loan shark-turned-movie guy Chili Palmer, is happening. Elmore Leonard’s about to write it, MGM’s already bought it, and John Travolta has said he’s interested in reprising the role, though he hasn’t signed anything yet.
A ‘Clueless’ sitcom
Sources reported Thursday that ABC is wrapping up negotiations on a 13-episode order for a “Clueless” sitcom based on the hit feature comedy.
Amy Heckerling, who wrote and directed the summer flick, is expected to also write and direct the pilot episode, sources added. Teenage actress Alicia Silverstone, who starred in the satirical feature about rich, spoiled and vapid Beverly Hills high schoolers, will not reprise her lead role in the series.
