Whitworth Drops Position In Poll
A split last week cost the Whitworth men one spot in the NAIA Division II Top 25 men’s basketball poll.
Whitworth (13-4) dropped from No. 7 to No. 8 this week.
Montana (25, for 28th), Washington (7, for 39th) and Washington State (1, tie for 46th) received votes in The Associated Press Division I women’s Top 25.

Visiting Garfield-Palouse outscored Rosalia 20-4 in the third quarter on its way to a 56-42 win Monday night.
The Vikings (7-0 Whitman County League, 13-3) overcame the absence of leading scorer B.J. Hill, who missed the game due to illness. Ben Scheele had 20 points for the Spartans (4-4, 10-8).
