Third-ranked Colfax didn’t blink Tuesday when visiting Deer Park jumped to a 10-2 lead.
Lindsay Thiele’s eight rebounds and Tracy Tribbett’s seven steals guided the Bulldogs (14-1, 8-1) to a 54-30 Northeast A League win over the Stags (8-8, 6-4).
After a slow start, Colfax scored 19 of the next 24 points leading up to the half. Colfax held Jaidean Watson and Jaime Stone, who average a combined for 25 points per game, to three apiece.

Tricia Lamb scored nine in the fourth quarter and Staci Garrett had nine rebounds for SJE, which won its 19th straight. T-O coughed up eight turnovers in the final quarter.
