Dear Heloise: I was shopping for a new eyeglass case. I was surprised at the prices. I happened to pass by some very nice potholders. The variety of patterns was endless. I folded one in half and put my glasses inside. They fit perfectly.

Simply fold in half, then stitch the bottom and side, either by hand or machine. Saves money and they look great, plus they are washable. - Marie L. Salas, Ventura, Calif.
