Too Slim Wagging More Than Dragging

Because Too Slim and the Taildraggers are mainly confined to local bars, the band will be exposed before hundreds or thousands who have never heard the blues band before at their Riverfront Park show Sunday in the Clocktower Meadow.

Since their arrival on the local scene, Too Slim and the Taildraggers have risen to become a major blues force in the Northwest.

Too Slim and the Taildraggers - vocalist-guitarist Tim Langford, drummer Johnny Cage and bassist Tom Brimm - spends 250 days out of the year crammed into a Ford Econoline, bringing their brand of raucous blues to cities and towns across the country.

The winter of 1995 saw the release of “Swamp Opera,” Too Slim’s third and best CD thus far.

On stage is where this band truly excels. If you’re enamored of the blues, you won’t want to miss this show. Plus, it’s free. The band performs at 4 p.m.
