Alfred Coles Post Falls

Rosary for Alfred Lawrence Coles, 66, will be today at 6 p.m. at St. George’s Catholic Church in Post Falls. Service will be Saturday at St. George’s at 9 a.m. English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Coles, who was born in British Columbia, died Tuesday.

He moved to Post Falls 60 years ago from Canada and was a crane operator for Bonneville Power Co.

Mr. Coles was a Navy veteran and served in Korea and was also a member of St. George’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Dolores; two sons, Steven Coles of Moses Lake and Timothy Coles of Garfield, Wash.; daughter, Susan Klaus of Yakima; two brothers, Robert Coles of Post Falls, and William Coles of Blanchard, Idaho; three sisters, Rosemary Dickson of Post Falls, and Margaret Payne and Mary Jo Stith, both of Vancouver, Wash.; and seven grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the North Idaho Cancer Center, 700 Ironwood Drive, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814.
