Bertha Affects Motor Sports
Winston Cup drivers apparently dodged another tropical storm while Bertha washed out some sports events in the Northeast and then eyed the open seas.

Despite reports to the contrary, Al Unser Jr. will remain with Marlboro Team Penske for the 1997 season. Rumors have been rampant that Unser would leave the Penske team at the end of this season in order to join a team that would allow him to race in the Indianapolis 500.
