Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: My friends and I use round tables all over our house and hide many things under the tablecloth. It is such a waste of space to use one of the three-legged tables

Often I use a 30-gallon garbage can to store off-season clothes. Put the clothes, or anything, in a leaf bag inside the garbage can. Next, use a 24-inch wooden circle, from any home-decorating store, as the top. Cover the whole thing with a round tablecloth. A quilt, or large sheet, that puddles is popular now. Have a circle of glass cut to fit and you have a table suitable for any room. I enjoy your column in the Montgomery Advertiser. - Bobbi Storie, Prattville, Ala.
