Pupo Gets Pay Hike
Acting Spokane City Manager Bill Pupo got a $19,400 salary boost Monday to compensate for his new duties.
The City Council appointed Pupo to the top spot when City Manager Roger Crum left to take a job in Evanston, Ill.
Pupo earned $72,157 as assistant city manager. His pay jumped to $91,558 this week.
The council is delaying the search for a new manager until the Sept. 17 vote on the strong-mayor measure. If passed, the manager post would disappear. , DataTimes
