A total of 30 air quality complaints were reported to the Spokane County Air Pollution Control Authority between May 20 and May 26.

The greatest number of complaints, 15, was for odor of compost at the Colbert Compost Facility.

May 20

Open fire was reported at 1821 S. Blake Road at 3:10 p.m.

Smoke and odor from a solid fuel burning device, such as a wood stove or fireplace was reported at 3429 E. Garrison Lane in Mead at 10:45 a.m.

Open fire was reported at 4603 N. Calvin Road at 11:25 a.m.

Odor of compost was reported at Colbert Compost Facility at 9:20 p.m.
