Buy Cheap, That’s What You’ll Get

Orange County Register

There’s one problem with a policy of buying garden hoses at cheap prices. You usually get what you pay for.

Most inexpensive garden hoses are not reinforced. Plus, the fittings are usually low-quality, so you end up buying a replacement hose much earlier than if you’d bought a quality hose.

All that doesn’t mean you should buy the most expensive hose you can find. Chances are a medium-price hose is satisfactory at least and of excellent quality at best.
