Perfect Husband Karl Youngren Receives Admiration And Love From His Family

Katie Youngren Of Spokane

My everyday hero is my husband, Karl Youngren. I was a single parent of four very active little boys when we were married on Aug. 21, 1994. I had prayed daily that God would send me a husband and I was quite particular about the qualities I wanted him to have. My prayers were answered. He is kind, loving, generous, funny, sincere, handsome, an excellent husband and a wonderful father. He adores the little boys and they feel the same way about him.

Karl and I both work full time, but he does more than his share of helping with the kids and household duties. He does most of the grocery shopping, handles the finances, cleans the house and cooks gourmet meals.

In January of this year, we were blessed with a beautiful daughter. Karl was a champion labor coach. He took time off from work to care for the baby and me and waited on me hand and foot. When people congratulate him on the birth of his first child, he kindly corrects them and says, “It’s my fifth!”

I truly must be the happiest woman in the world and Karl has made my fairy tale dreams come true. He is my hero!
