Skins Keep Veteran
The Washington Redskins re-signed 10-year veteran defensive end Tony Woods.
Woods started all 16 games at left end last year for a defense that ranked next-to-last in the league against the run. He made 54 tackles, including two sacks, and scored his first NFL touchdown when he ran back a fumble in the season finale against St. Louis.
The San Diego Chargers re-signed defensive tackle John Parrella and guard Joe Cocozzo, both restricted free agents, to two-year contracts.
The Chargers also re-signed linebackers Dwayne Gordon and former Washington State standout Lewis Bush to one-year contracts. They also were restricted free agents.
