Harry ‘Scotty’ Scott Ione, Wash.
Graveside service for Harry E. “Scotty” Scott, 94, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Riverside Cemetery in Ione. Sherman-Knapp Funeral Home in Newport, Wash., is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Scott, a 47-year Pend Oreille county resident, died Thursday.
He was born in Mound City, S.D.
He served in the Army during World War II and worked as a hardrock miner.
He lived in Kellogg, Idaho, and worked for the Bunker and Sunshine Mines. He worked for the Pend Oreille Mines and also on construction of the Box Canyon Dam.
He was a member of the Peaceful Valley Grange, the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include halfbrother, Will Ryckman of Medical Lake.
Audrey Pease Colville
Graveside service for Audrey Elizabeth Pease, 88, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mountain View Park Cemetery in Colville. Danekas Funeral Home in Colville is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Pease, who was born in Clarkston, died Thursday.
She earned a teaching certificate from Lewiston Normal School and taught for five years.
In 1928, she married Louie Pease in Lewiston. They lived in Lewiston, until 1943, when they moved to Inchelium, Wash. They moved to Colville in 1973.
Mrs. Pease also worked as a retail sales clerk.
Survivors include her husband, Louie; son, Dave Pease of Colville; sister, Margie Farrish of Deer Park; brothers, Speck Garlinghouse of Colbert, and Gerald Garlinghouse of Spokane; and two granddaughters.

‘Greg’ Colpitts Eugene, Ore.
Memorial service for Ronald George Gregory “Greg” Colpitts, 67, was Saturday at Eugene Baptist Temple. Mr. Colpitts, a former Spokane resident, died May 24.
He was born in Spokane and graduated from Lewis and Clark High School.
He served in the Marine Corps for one year, and worked for Roundup Grocery Co., in Spokane and Sandpoint from 1948 until 1954. He then went to work for Del Monte Foods. He left Spokane in 1959 and moved to Portland and then to Eugene. He also worked as a salesman for Scott Paper Co., from 1965 until he retired in 1990.
Mr. Colpitts is survived by his wife of 24 years, Constance Colpitts; two daughters Mary Brenner of Longview, Wash., and Maggie Baldwin of Eugene; one stepdaughter, Trudy Lampson of Houston, Texas; one son, Jeff Colpitts of Bothell, Wash.; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth Horner Spokane
Graveside memorial service for Elizabeth Horner, 84, will be at 2 p.m. today at Riverside Memorial Park. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Horner, who died Friday, was born in Independence, Kan. She was a homemaker.
In 1947, she married Fae Horner. He died in 1982.
Survivors include one stepdaughter, Geraldine Alstrom of Spokane; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children.
Herman Tackett Jr. Spokane
Service for Herman C. Tackett Jr., 48, is planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South. Burial will be at Riverside Memorial Park.
Mr. Tackett, who died Thursday, was born in New Albany, Ind.
He had lived in Spokane for 26 years and worked as a building engineer with Empire Health Services.
He was a member of National Street Rod Association.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Cheryl Tackett; one daughter, Tami Tackett at home; two brothers, William Tackett of Spokane and Richard Tackett of Jeffersonville, Ind.; and three sisters, June Kalacki of South Bend, Ind., Evelyn Garland of Oneida, Ky., and Ruth Rainbolt of New Albany, Ind.

Marie Capps Spokane
Visitation for Marie I. Capps, 78, is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home. Service will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pines Cemetery.
Mrs. Capps, who was born in Upham, N.D., died Friday.
She was raised in Polson, Mont., and graduated from high school there.
She married Norman Capps in 1940 in Provo, Utah, and they moved to Spokane. Mrs. Capps was a homemaker and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 15th Ward.
Her husband, Norman, died in 1994.
She is survived by daughter, Carol Capps of Spokane; sister, Grace Schmidt of Chula Vista, Calif.; brothers, Verne Hanson of Troy, Mont., and Harding Hanson of Dillon, Mont.
