The Cal State Northridge baseball team tied a school record with its 14th consecutive win and the Matadors set an NCAA record by hitting 13 home runs in a 29-3 victory over visiting Fresno State.

In women’s basketball, No. 2 Georgia was upset by LSU 73-71 in the SEC tournament in Chattanooga, Tenn.; No. 5 Tennessee beat No. 23 Mississippi 73-51; and No. 18 Florida downed No. 10 Vanderbilt, 83-73.

At the ACC tournament in Rock Hill, S.C., No. 22 Clemson defeated No. 8 Virginia 75-67; and No. 12 Duke beat No. 19 North Carolina State 79-62.
