Seth Brock Achieves Eagle Scout Rank

Seth Brock, Greenacres, recently achieved Eagle Scout rank in the Boy Scouts.

An eighth-grade student at Rainbow School, Brock made two outdoor benches for the Good Samaritan Nursing Residence for his Eagle Scout project.

The Spokane YWCA’s Water Fitness Program was named the No. 1 program in Washington state by the U.S. Water Fitness Association Inc. for the second year in a row.

The Spokane program was also named fifth in the nation and was the No. 1 YWCA nationwide.

Katie Bagley, a 1994 graduate of Gonzaga Prep High School, has been named to the Dean’s List at the University of Notre Dame for the fall semester.

Bagley, daughter of Richard and Roberta Bagley, Greenacres, is a sophomore majoring in liberal studies and history.

Kelcey B. Milbrandt, Colbert, has been named to the fall Dean’s Honor Roll at Creighton University in Omaha, Neb. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Milbrandt.

The University of Oregon recently announced three Spokane students who made the fall Dean’s List:

Tuan Nguyen Anh Le, is a senior management major; Jeremy Daniel Ostrander, a senior, is majoring in music; and Jennifer Howell Ross is a sophomore whose major is undecided.

Elaine Chern Tan, Pullman, and Heidi Dawn Edwards, Spokane, both earned Purdue University scholastic honors. Tan is majoring in science; Edwards is a liberal arts major.

Central Washington University recently announced area students nominated to the National Dean’s List:

Stacie Kudamatsu, Cheney, is a percussion performance major; and Molly Rettkowski, Reardan, Wash., is a mathematics major.

Heather J. Koselke, recently qualified for the fall semester Dean’s List at Babson College in Wellesley, Mass. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene N. Koselke, Veradale.

Elizabeth T. Mann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul W. Mann, Spokane, recently was named to the Dean’s List at Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vt.

Kelsey A. Whitehead, Spokane, graduated from Western Illinois University in December with a master’s degree in science.
