Inland Northwest Teachers Recognized For Dedication

Elementary and secondary teachers in 36 Inland Northwest schools have received Washington Water Power’s Good Ideas Grants for Teachers totaling $30,000.

The following teachers from Eastern Washington were recognized for their creative approach and dedication toward teaching:

Bemiss Elementary, Spokane: Lorna Spear, Vicki Wold and Linda Lee.

Broadway Elementary, Spokane: Jerry White and Colleen Webber.

Colville (Wash.) Junior High: Michael Lariviere, Chris Loftus and Steve McCullough.

East Farms Elementary, Newman Lake: Stacey Brinkley, Judie Burbank and Sincere Arnold.

Endicott (Wash.) School: Mike Anderson, Sue Lynch and Arden Johnson.

Franklin Elementary, Pullman: Rosalie Harms and Betty Coon.

Freeman High, Rockford: John Hays, Patrick Mustedt and Dennis Schuerman.

Holmes Elementary, Spokane: Karen Bialozor, Brenda Van Matre, Maureen Conley, Helen McMahon and Mitzi Judd.

Horizon Junior High, Spokane: Janis Pederson, Deborah Albert and Helen Bartalamay.

Jefferson Elementary, Pullman: Jan Gaskins, Beverly Young and Janily Patrick.

John Rogers High, Spokane: Cyndi Logan and Mary Porter.

Kettle Falls Elementary: Sally James, Valerie McKern and Tracy Vining.

Liberty High School, Spangle: Sally Shamp, David Baird and Carty Strait.

Lincoln Middle School, Pullman: Linda Hackbarth, Connie Downen, Bonnie Svingen and Ron Wise.

Northwood Junior High, Spokane: Renee Demand, Jan Virgil, Cindy Martin-Shaw and Craig Collings.
