Spielman Headed To Bills

Compiled From Wire Services

Linebacker Chris Spielman said farewell to the Detroit Lions, the only NFL team he has known for eight seasons.

This weekend, the Lions’ leading tackler in each of those eight seasons plans to sign a four-year, $8 million contract with the Buffalo Bills.

Free-agent safety Lorenzo Lynch - released because the Arizona Cardinals had salary cap problems - was signed by the Oakland Raiders.

A day after the Miami Dolphins lost their third free agent, they signed guard Keith Sims to a five-year contract.
