Fema Plans Workshop On Flood Insurance

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is holding a workshop on the National Flood Insurance Program on Friday.

The workshop is designed to help insurance companies, mortgage lenders and community officials who may receive inquiries about flood insurance in light of recent flooding in North Idaho, FEMA officials said.

It will cover the flood insurance program as well as how to write policies.

The program runs from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Idaho Department of Transportation office, 600 W. Prairie Ave, in Coeur d’Alene.
