Dear Heloise: I have packed my car with all the necessary things in case my car breaks down (flashlight, blankets, jumper cables, etc.). I also include crayons and a small coloring book for my daughter, to keep her occupied in case we are stranded for extended periods. It also comes in handy for long waits at the doctor’s office.- D.
