Also in Miami, Nate Miller defended his WBA cruiserweight title, stopping Brian LaSpada in the ninth round, and former WBC heavyweight champion Oliver McCall stopped James Stanton in the sixth round of a scheduled 10-round bout. … Arturo Gatti knocked out Wilson Rodriguez in the sixth round in New York to retain the IBF junior lightweight title.
