Brett Lindros To Retire

Brett Lindros, after two injury-restricted seasons with the New York Islanders, will have to retire because of too many concussions, the team said.

The 20-year-old brother of Philadelphia Flyers star Eric Lindros has three years on a $7.5 million contract. Most of the remaining money will be paid off by a disability insurance policy.
