Armstrong Leads Tour Dupont

Lance Armstrong continued his race domination by winning the sixth stage of the Tour DuPont - the fourth stage he has won in the bicycle race.

Armstrong, 24, of Austin, Texas, left Pascal Herve of France with 2-1/2 miles left and rode to more than a 1-minute victory in the 134.5-mile Salem-to-Blacksburg, Va., road race, finishing in 6 hours, 6 minutes, 59 seconds.

Herve, who assumed the race lead after 112 miles, was second in 6:08:09. Jean Cyril Robin of France was third in 6:09:47.

Armstrong, the leader since winning the second stage Thursday, leads Herve by 2:53 with six stages of the 1,225-mile race through six states remaining.
