Dear Heloise: When our family rented a lake cabin a few years ago, I could not find a knife sharp enough to slice a tomato. Luckily, I had some fillet knives in my tackle box. The small fillet knife worked so well that I now keep several in my kitchen drawer at home.

Dear Heloise: We were helping my parents move, and after the moving van left they decided they needed to take a dresser with them after all.

To get it there, we used a foam egg-carton mattress pad on top of our car to lay it on, and after it was tied down it didn’t budge one iota or scratch the dresser or the car! - Linda Gilbride, Conroe, Texas
