Felix Trinidad disposed of Freddie Pendleton with a hard left hook to the body in the fifth round, putting an explosive end to a lackluster fight and retaining his IBF welterweight title in Las Vegas.

Unbeaten Phillip Holiday of South Africa retained his IBF lightweight title when he stopped Australian Jeff Fenech during the second round of their scheduled 12-rounder in Melbourne. Fenech, a former three-time world champion, retired afterward.

Montana’s Todd Foster will meet Steve Langley in the main event of a June 1 boxing card in Helena.
