Nbc Tops Week’s Ratings
NBC’s regularly scheduled Thursday shows ran 1-2-3-4-5, giving the it a solid Nielsen victory in the third week of the May ratings sweep.
The network’s “Mad About You,” exiled to Sunday, tied with ABC’s “Home Improvement” for sixth place, and NBC’s Monday movie, “Twisted Desires,” tied for 10th place to give NBC seven of the Top 10 shows, according to Tuesday’s Nielsen release.
NBC won the week with an 11.4 rating, 20 percent share; ABC was second with a 9.7 rating, 17 share; CBS had an 8.8 rating, 15 share; and Fox, a 7.3 rating, 13 share.
