Wave A Flag And Sing Along With This Musical Review
Northwoods Performing Arts, the Newport-based community musical group, opens its spring revue, “An American Tradition,” this weekend.
The show is a musical journey around the country from the Deep South to Broadway. An old-fashioned revival meeting is one of the stops along the way.
The songs are done in cabaret style, interspersed with original skits and patriotic production numbers.
“An American Tradition” will open with dinner shows at 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Jewel Lake in Sagle, Idaho. Tickets are $16, available at Pulford’s Floral in Newport and the Midway Cafe in Priest River.
The show will come to Spokane for a performance at The Met on June 2 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $8, $5 for children, available through all G&B Select-a-Seat outlets or at the door.
A final weekend of dinner shows will be June 14 at 6 p.m. and June 15 at 6:30 p.m. at Grandview Resort on Priest Lake. Tickets are $19 at Pulford’s Floral or the Midway Cafe.
