Sam Lozeau ran for 179 yards on just eight carries and scored four touchdowns as the Knights walloped the host Warriors 58-8 in a North Star League matchup.

Lozeau scored on runs of 90, 51, 13 and 12 yards in a game called at halftime because of the mercy rule.

Doug Ott, who gained 114 yards on 11 carries, scored Kootenai’s (1-7, 1-7) lone touchdown on a 75-yard run in the second quarter.

Lakeside (7-1, 8-1) takes on Genesee in the first round of the playoffs next Friday.
