Wayne Graham Bouse, Ariz.
Memorial service for Wayne Wilbur Graham, a former Spokane resident, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Veterans Monument at Depot Park in Kalispell, Mont.
Mr. Graham died Oct. 18 at home. He was 73.
He was born in Kalispell and lived there until 1943, when he joined the Marine Corps.
He lived in Spokane from the mid-1950s to the 1980s and moved to Arizona about 10 years ago.
Mr. Graham was a member of the Teamsters Union and worked as a transport operator until he retired.
He was a member of the Marine Corps League and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He was also a member of the National Rifle Association, the North American Hunting Club, the Montana’s Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association, the American Legion, the Eagles Lodge and the Moose Lodge.
Mr. Graham played the drums, most recently with the Bouse Washboard Band.
Survivors include his wife of eight years, Mary Ann (Stiles) Graham; a son, Gregory Graham of Everett; two daughters, Ricki Bingham of Coeur d’Alene and Roxie Graham of Cardiff by The Sea, Calif.; a sister, Elaine “Toots” Crane of Phoenix, Ariz.; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Kathleen Sorsdahl Coeur d’Alene
Service for Kathleen Marie Sorsdahl, 92, will be today at 10 a.m. at Yates Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene. Burial will follow at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Sorsdahl, who was born in Minnesota, died Friday.
She grew up in Minnesota and moved to Montana at age 10, where she farmed until moving to Coeur d’Alene in 1950.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Coeur d’Alene, the Senior Center, the AARP and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Mrs. Sorsdahl was preceded in death by her husband, George, in 1986. Survivors include a son, Earl Sorsdahl of Diamond Lake, Wash.; a daughter, Pearl Bakken of Montana; a brother, Raymond Brason of Oklahoma; one grandson, Terry; and three great-grandchildren.
Torrence Wentzel St. Maries
Memorial service for Torrence A. Wentzel, 57, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the St. Maries Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness. Yates-Hodge Funeral Home of St. Maries is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wentzel, who was born in Allentown, Pa., died Thursday.
He had lived in Arizona and California before moving to St. Maries in 1966.
He worked as a log skid operator, recently for Lee St. John Logging. He also ran a part-time scrap metal business.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; five sons, Torrence Wentzel Jr. and Robert and Patrick Wentzel, all of St. Maries, Michael Wentzel of Boise and Benjamin Wentzel of Clarkia, Idaho; a daughter, Cynthia Hood of Georgia; a sister, Marian Starr of Arizona; and eight grandchildren.
Alice Hopkins Spokane
Memorial service for Alice L. Hopkins, 74, will be at 6 p.m. today at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. Private burial will precede at Fairmount Memorial Park. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Nashville, Wis., Mrs. Hopkins died Saturday.
She had lived in Spokane for more than 45 years and was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and Deer Park Eagles Lodge No. 3564.
She is survived by four daughters, Mary Lang, Nancy Russian, Lynette King and Veronica Howard, all of Spokane; three stepsons, Dave Hopkins of Colville, Wash., Steve Hopkins of Hayden Lake, Idaho, and Robb Hopkins of Minnesota; two stepdaughters, Elaine Ferguson of Coeur d’Alene and Kathy Gausoro of Ketchikan, Alaska; her fiance, Chris Bowden of Lewiston; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Spokane or St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.
Cora Hull Coeur d’Alene
Service for Cora Torena Hull, 88, will be today at 1 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene. Burial will be at Forest Cemetery.
Mrs. Hull, who was born in Nebraska, died Friday.
She moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1934 and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Hull was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church in Coeur d’Alene.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C.W. “Wray” in 1975.
Survivors include a son, Paul Hull of Coeur d’Alene; two daughters, Florence Traver and Esther Brueggeman, both of Portland; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Lahmduan “Duan” Travis Athol
Visitation for Lahmduan “Duan” Travis, 41, will be Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene. Vigil service will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church in Rathdrum. Burial will follow at Pinegrove Cemetery in Rathdrum.
Mrs. Travis, who was born in Thailand, died Friday. She immigrated to the United States and received her citizenship in 1983. She had recently worked at Mad Mary’s Thai Restaurant in Coeur d’Alene.
Mrs. Travis was a member of St. Stanislaus Church.
Survivors include her husband, Tony; four daughters, Alisa “Ann” Travis of Moscow, Idaho, Julia Travis of Athol, Marie Travis of Coeur d’Alene, and Cora Travis of Athol; her mother, Mee Wongwaht of Thailand; three brothers, Sonswahn, Nai and Chwang, all of Thailand; and three sisters, Suan, Sai and Khim, all of Thailand.

Anthony Mitchell Spirit Lake, Idaho
Funeral Mass for Anthony R. Mitchell, 18 months, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Spirit Lake. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Spirit Lake. English Funeral Chapel of Coeur d’Alene is in charge of arrangements.
Anthony was born in Coeur d’Alene on Feb. 11, 1995.
Survivors include his parents, Albert Mitchell of Boise, and Anna Stout Mitchell of Spirit Lake; his grandparents, Daunette Mitchell of Hayden Lake, and Susan Stout and Lester Gibson, both of Spirit Lake; and his great-grandparents, Gail Mitchell of Spokane, and Betty Hohn and Leota Gibson, both of Spirit Lake.
