One Shot Fired As Pair Robs Motel
Sheriff’s deputies are looking for two men who robbed a Spokane Valley motel Tuesday night.
Two men wearing ski masks entered the Broadway Motel office, 6317 E. Broadway, at 8:16 p.m., deputies said.
One shot was fired, but the motel clerk, who handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, wasn’t injured, according to sheriff’s Lt. Chan Bailey.
The victim described one robber as 6 feet tall, wearing an orange mask and a black-and-yellow checkered shirt. The other robber, who wore a gray mask and carried a handgun, is about 5 feet 8 inches tall.
The robbers fled in a small, two-door car with a damaged left side. , DataTimes
