Donations To Help Parenting Resource Facility

Two businesses have given $5,200 to help keep a Deer Park parenting resource facility open.

The Family Resource Center will expand from a single site at Deer Park Elementary to a second at Arcadia Elementary.

The center offers parent classes and instructional resources, including books, audio and video tapes, and a media library. Information about GEDs, community entertainment and housing is also available.

The supporting businesses are Wells Fargo, which gave $4,200, and Washington Water Power, which gave $1,000.
