Wwp Gives $1,500 To Scope

Washington Water Power has donated $1,500 to the Sheriff’s Community Oriented Policing Effort.

The money will be used to help the Spokane area’s SCOPE groups address administrative needs, such as improving communication between the Sheriff’s Department and the community policing stations.

There are eight SCOPE groups in the area, including six in the Spokane Valley and one each in Green Bluff and Espanola.

Each group will decide how to best spend its share of WWP’s gift.
